Tree and Window
San Antonio has some wonderful places, when you are done with the Riverwalk, head for the missions! This is a small detail from San José, the largest of the missions. At its height, the community contained about 350 Indian neophytes, sustained by extensive fields and herds of livestock. It became known as the “Queen of the Missions.” Its imposing complex of stone walls, bastions, granary, and a magnificent church was completed by 1782.
To us it looks a bit like a print from the old chemical dark room, long before the digital ages….
Processed in Topaz Adjust and added grain.
