Mall Shooting Series: Skating Rink Multitemporal Colour

Mall Shooting Series: Skating Rink Multitemporal Colour

Multitemporal tecnique is described by Bjørn Rørslett (under “Far Side” in the leftmost colomn). .  This is a technique that we have wanted to try for a while, but have had trouble finding a fitting motif.  The picture is created by combining 3 different exposure into the RGB colour channels in Photoshop.  The areas were there is no movement will be combined to a grayscale image, while the areas of movement will be coloured.

This is the ice-skating rink of the Houston Galleria Shopping Mall.

  5. Very nice!

It is almost like a computerized pic, like predicting movement of the people.
