Ablution place outside the Blue Mosque
This is the place where the worshipers perform wudu (purification) before praying. Outside every mosque, or just inside the entrance, there is a place where worshipers can remove and leave their shoes, there is also a place where they can carry out the ritual washing required before prayer. This is outside the Blue Mosque in Istanbul.
This was captured a long time ago, but a recent post over at Mike’s, reminded us.
