Galveston Man

Galveston Man

He could have been the old man and the sea. He was sitting on this step to the beach at Galveston, overlooking the rebuilding of this house, which was destroyed by the hurricane Ike. We are back at the same spot, eight month later, and there he is, with his beer. Looking and more than willing to have a chat, about the hurricane, the history, the life after.
fter our little chat we ask if we can take a photo of him, and he smiles and says; I dont mind, I dont mind. So here he is – the man from the Galveston beach.

.

  8. What a face! Isn’t that how you wish you would look if you didn’t look as you did? I know nothing about the guy except from what you write, but he’s lived a life, and that’s what we all wish for, isn’t it?
