Galveston Beach Teeth

Galveston Beach Teeth

Life After Ike II

Imagine that Ike turned the sea into a big mouth, who tried to chew the little beach-town  Galveston to pieces  -  it almost succeeded too, but now the remains stands like rotten teeth…

Converted to BW in Camera Raw .

.

Tenk deg at Ike gjorde havet om til en diger munn, som forsøkte a tygge den lille kystbyen Galveston til småbiter – den klarte det nesten også, og nå står restene der som råtne tenner….

Konvertert til svart/hvitt i Camera Raw.

  1. I’d like to say that it’s very nice, but somehow the word doesn’t suit the story you’re telling with the image. It’s an image to reflekt upon.

  2. This is possibly my favorite image of yours. Love the BW conversion and the clarity, but the composition makes the shot for me. I also like the shape very much. Very nice job!!!

  5. A picture that really speaks louder without any words… Nice conversion too. As Rian says, hopefully it can be resurrected back to life.

  9. This bleak scene is well presented in B&W. The “chewed up” analaogy is a great accompanying commentary.
