It must have been a terrifying time when the hurricane hit for anyone still in the area. The forces of nature would have been horrific. Looking through the structure on the left … is that a high rise building in the distance? Are they hurricane proof in their construction?

It is so frustrating to see how long it takes to clean up and start to rebuild after a disaster like this. The survivors must have great fortitude to rise to that challenge. I like this photo because it shows the force of nature competing with the willpower of humans. Look forward to more in your series.

This is a great photo! That foreground element coming out of the sand makes it look like a beach in Greece. Though Greek beaches don’t have those things sticking out of the sand. But like erosion brought back an ancient find. Can’t wait to see more of the Galvaston series.
