I’m slightly bewildered after reading your post. Is it a very small fly or a very, very, very small fly?
Whether the one or the other, it IS a very very very fine shot of a fly! Sharpness, colour, DOF, composition. Exquisite!

These are great. Your macros always are. This is something I enjoy seeing because I cannot do it and I certainly do not possess the patience you have. The shallow depth of field adds yet another twist that would make me crazy. I give you a lot of credit. Wonderful shot.

I’ve never understood how people go about taking this kind of shot. I imagine it’s mostly skill but you’d have to have a little luck along the way, right? Nice shooting for sure.
