i remembered doing this when i was a kid (but a little bit older than her).. i had to walk a few hundred meters to a deep well pump to get water.. excellent capture & great commentary..

Sometimes we come across relevant shots that make you stop and think. This is one of those shots. Even without the commentary, you understand what the shot is saying. We indeed take most everything for granted. This photo tests the viewers humility. Very well presented.

Oh, and of course, it’s a lovely shot of a beautiful and determined to help little girl.

Powerful and wonderful shot. Excellent shot.

Water is a curious and amazng thing. The water in our faucets is as old as the earth itself. It is not created it is merely recycled. The water that is on the planet now is the same as it was in the beginning of the earth. It is distributed unevenly throughout the world at different times and is recylced through the “water cycle”; evaportation and transpiration, condensation, precipitation, and collection. But the amount of water on the planet has remained constant since the beginning of time. The water we drink is as old as the earth we live on.

Great shot, here the kids may help carry in the groceries… maybe 30 feet, while in other areas they have to walk miles and miles. we are fortunate, so as Framed and Shot says, use your water sparingly and help out! Great shot.
