Nepali Boy
We met this Nepali boy in Sauraha, Nepal. Sauraha is a small charming village at the foot of the Himalayas on the northern bank of the Rapti River . It is a village which is inseparable from the Chitwan National Park . The Park is one of Nepal ’s treasures of natural wonders and first national park, listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site. In the park we could admire one of the last populations of single-horned Asiatic rhinoceros but did not get a glimpse of the last refuges of the Bengal tiger, which also lives here. But we did get a beautiful memory of this little boy, he was out in the field playing and stopped and looked at us – a bit shy, a bit curious.
.
