Very nice. This one takes a minute to sink in. That horizon line is perfect. There’s something about it; as you’ve capture this it seems to float across as it sharply divides.

I have never seen the Dead Sea and I never imagined it would be so hauntingly beautiful or the water so clear. Beautiful photo.

I, too, like the effect that line has a the horizon . . i gives definition where we expect none and jolts the senses.

It’s interesting comparing this and the previous Dead Sea shots. This one is calmer and more sterile in appearance. I like the previous shot more, finding the encrusted salt crystals on the rock rather fascinating and the sunset colors are pleasant too. Incredible about being so far below sea level!

Dette var det noe spesielt med, syns jeg. De dødøde steinene i brunnyanser var flotte, særlig i kontrast til vannet. Men det som fascinerte meg mest, var den knisvkarpe og rette horisonten – og de lette bomullsskyene. Sammen med sine egne dobbeltgjengere i vannet, rammet de inn den duse landmassen langt der borte. Flott bilde.
