One of our little friends is dead. He used to be so colorful, that is all gone, and he will never smile again.
This is the last shot.

En av våre små venner er død. Han var så fargerik, fargene er borte nå og han vil aldri smile igjen.
Dette er det siste bildet.

Stumble It!

Great works…it looks like a scientific image!
I was thinking silence of the lambs – none the less. Wonderful macro shot. Love the back lit lighting, making him transparent. Should it have been a vertical shot, or does his tail end there?
the mention of his demise and the way you shot him gives me a feeling of this being ‘clinical’
but still, it’s an awesome image.. nice shot..
Well, you certainly managed to ressurect a little vibrance in this shot. Well lit. Love all that lacy detail. Nice work.
Wonderful macro shot; I like the colours and these details … particularly this grid of the wings. Really good work!
Great detail, love the colors. Well done!
It’s a beautiful last shot.
Beautiful detail in the wings. This shot is a fitting tribute.
Great photo. Perfect detail and very good lighting.
Excellent macro, really like the details in the wings and the colors are still there even after its demise… excellent light too.
Would have liked to see the entire tail, but that just nit-picking
What a wonderful World
Veldig flott avsluttning på en fargeglad kar
Amazing detail.
He is still beautiful. Superb detail.
great macro there.
Es un macro excelente, que delicadeza y que precision al hacer el click!!! Te felicito, buen trabajo…saludos.
He is still a beautiful creature. Great macro.
Did you shoot him with on a light table with a ring light? Unfortunately I sold my light table thinking I’d never need it anymore.
The image does look clinical, but not it a bad way. It’s very detailed, and they’re ver interesting creatures. We cal them dragonflies here…not sure what you guys call them.
STUNNING macro!!
the poor bugger.
Nice photograph and an original macro (never came to the idea of putting a dead insect on a light table, it gives a pretty cool effect here).
Stakkars.
Wow those wings look like they were made of gold! Super detail!
Stunning details and I like your narration as well.
Aw, sorry about your friend. Lovely final shot.
