We wanted to try this in B&W. This is not the same picture as this previous post, but from the same place. We are still struggling with our B&W conversions, but hopefully we are learning.

Looks like you are doing great in my eyes, the blackness and reflection in the small puddle of water in the foregroun is what does it for me, great one.

Hvis dette er et eksempel på å “streve med svart/hvit-konvertering”, så kan vi andre som leker med fotografering og bildebehandling bare gi oss først som sist. Dette er vakkert, rett og slett. Nydelige detaljer og nyanser. Jeg syns dette gir et utrolig godt bilde av en vakker del av Rogalandskysten. Villt, vakkert og likevel balsam for sjelen.

It looks fabulous. Struggling with Black and White conversion? It’s certainly not readily apparent. The depth in this image is outstanding. Great detail, interesting subject.
The types of conversion I do depend on the subject. Generally I try to replicate the tones of old films, but not always. This one looks a bit like the old Delta films.
