Seagull

Seagull

Seagull resting between pelicans and other sea birds. They don’t always scream for food….
Did you know that they have found a fossil from the The Laridae (family of seagulls) from the Early Oligocene (geological period some 30-33 million years ago)?
In other words; they were here before us….

.

  3. Rats with wings… but I love them anyway. Looks like a great place to sit and wait for the day to pass. Interesting info too.

  4. It looks like paint on the poles, but it doesn’t add up with all the birds. It seems like you are as near as you can, the bird is watching you closely.

  5. Great detail and sharpness. Love the two bigger birds behind the seagull.

  9. Yes…i like what I see, the setting, the framing and the dof. I am wondering what the photo would do if you would have decreased the brightness or isolated the seagull a bit more.

  19. Really, really, Nice! I almost expected to smell the sea, feel the breeze and hear the gulls screaming! Very life-like!

It is interesting to see that they existed before man. Looks like this one did a good job of painting the post it is sitting on!

I do like the pelicans in the background – Have you got photos of the pelicans, too?

  34. great dof !!

  35. Veldig stilig bilde.
