Framed and Shot

Located on a cliff over the sea, Fjøløy Lighthouse at the South West coast of Norway (map) is not your classic tall light, but rather a small structure.
Do not get the sun in the frame, says the book.  This is more of an experiment to see what HDR can do, but we were quite pleased with the result despite of the flares.  The lens used is the Nikon 18-200mm and with the amount of glass in this lens, it is quite susceptible to flare.  The frame is a combination of 7 exposures handheld combined in Photomatix and tone mapped using Topaz Adjust.  It is a little over the top, we got carried away….it is after all Tuesday

Fjøløy fyr er bygd på en klippe over sjøen er ikke derfor ikke det klassiske høyreiste fyret.
Unngå å få solen i bildet står det i boka-.  Det vi har forsøkt her er å se hva som er mulig å få til med HDR.  Vi ble ganske fornøyd med resultated selv om det er mye strølys.  Bildet er tatt med Nikon 18-200mm og det er en linse med mye glass og en komplisert oppbygning som gjør at problemene med å fotografere inn i solen forsterkes.  Bildet er sammensatt av 7 eksponeringer håndholdt og kombinert i Photomatix.  Vi har laget det litt ekstremt, men vi ble revet med.
